The 40th Anniversary SOUVENIR JACKET baseball uniform, the first shot is Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji as the theme.The front portrays the motif of "Taganoura Bay near Ejiri on the Tokaido Highway" (Tokaido Ejiri Tagonoura Ryakuzu).Looking at Mount Fuji, Tago rocked and hooked up a pair of jeans, the unique design is indeed the signature style of STUDIO D’ARTISAN.

While the reverse side is "Fine Wind, Clear Morning" (Gaifuu Kaisei).This is the design of the STUDIO D’ARTISAN 40th Anniversary flag hanging from the plane, floating in the clouds around Mount Fuji.

The jacket is made using a sleek rayon in alternating colors, giving each side a unique flair beyond the custom embroidery. Fitted with a Japanese YKK zipper, two hand pockets, and custom acrylic ribbing.

Sukajan varsity jacket History

During the period after World War ll, soldiers who stationed at the U.S. military, based in Yokosuka, Japan, customized the Yokosuka Baseball Jacket with the embroidery of the Oriental pattern and the pin designs of their own troops and bases as a souvenir. They ordered at the tailor's shop called “SOUVENIR JACKET”, which is said to be the source of the jacket.
